John Navarrete, 64, of Alta Loma, California, passed away on March 26, 2026.
Born on July 1 1961, John lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, loyalty, and an unwavering love for the people around him. As a leader of businesses in the construction and communications industries, he built more than successful companies—he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of countless clients, colleagues, and friends.
John had a gift for bringing people together. Whether he was camping in the mountains, spending a day (or week) at the lake, casting a fishing line into the water, or simply sharing stories and laughter around the table, he made every gathering memorable. He was happiest when surrounded by family and friends, creating the kind of moments that become cherished memories.
John was raised in a loving family. Dad Toby, Mom Cora (both passed), Sisters Melinda and Cindy, and brothers, Gil, Jim and Tom spent a lot of time together in So El Monte, where they added many of their neighbors there to their family of choice, which included the Morrells, Rick and Denise, Rikki and Geno Estrada, Kacee, Nellie and Kazi.
John is survived by his partner, Cynthia Martinez and a large extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends who loved him deeply. His absence leaves an immeasurable void, but his memory lives on in the countless lives he touched through his kindness, generosity, humor, and friendship.
